Manitowoc, WI – May 30, 2008 - While the track prep crew worked endlessly on the track during the week, heavy rains during the early morning on Friday did not help. The crew worked feverishly all day Friday to get the track in racing condition.  In an attempt to get the race program in, several heat races were run, with no change to the track.  After the Late Models and Grand Nationals ran their heat races, the first heat of the Sprint cars was sent out on the track and given several hot laps to get a feel for the track.  It was decided at that time that the track was not safe to race on and the program was cancelled.

All fans that were in attendance have the next 2 weeks to redeem their ticket stub for a free night of racing.
