Manitowoc, WI.; May 9, 2008 - Brian Kristan lined up on the outside of the front row of the 360 Sprint Car A-Main, took the lead from the drop of the green flag and never looked back. The field was stopped on lap 2 for an altercation that resulted in Robbie Pribnow

upside down and retired Pribnow, Tim Melis, and Shane Wenninger to the pits for the remainder of the race. Kristan was followed to the checkers by Danny Schlafer, Al Schlafer, Terry Marten and Kurt Davis.
Russ Scheffler passed Justin Richie on the last lap to win the Late Model feature. There was only one caution on lap 3 when Terry Goetsch and Erik Michaels got tangled. Chasing Scheffler and Richie to the line was Ron Berna, Pete Parker and Craig Schueffner.
The Grand National feature saw Brian Gilles take a huge lead with Brett Wenzel chasing him down. Wenzel reeled Gilles in and for the last few laps they were running door to door. Gilles crossed the line, for his 50th feature win, a half a car length ahead of Wenzel. Finishing behind Gilles and Wenzel were Mike Bastian, Damrow Bros., and Bob Peter.
Adam Krepline won the 20 lap Hobby Stock feature followed by Matt McDonald and Mike Kaufmann.
Kyle Resch won the 10 lap Mighty 4 feature.
Join us next week Friday, May 16th, for Halloween in May. All kids that come to the races in a costume will get a goody bag. The best kid costume will get a special prize. There will be trick or treating in the pits after the races.
