Behind him another past track champion Pete Ostrowski of East Troy threw his car to the outside of Brad Swendrowski of Milwaukee to take over fifth at the line. A lap later, Ostrowski charged passed both Bricker and Hansen to move into third. Ostrowski wasted no time and passed Tuschl in the next lap to move into the challenge spot. As Ostrowski raced to catch up to the back of his team member in the lead, McMullen approached lapped traffic. Five laps from the end, McMullen and Ostrowski raced side by side around the Manitowoc track almost even through the turns and down the back stretch. When McMullen and Ostrowski charged out of turn four, McMullen pulled down the front stretch ahead of Ostrowski. At the white flag, Ostrowski tucked his car to the inside of McMullen and charged through again in second. As McMullen and Ostrowski charged through the final lap, Ostrowski gained the advantage and took over the lead. At the checkered flag, after winning the A-Main last week, Ostrowski charged through to win his second A-Main of the season. Heat winner McMullen followed in second with Tuschl, Hansen and Bricker rounding out the top five.
