In order to better accommodate our members from the Manitowoc area, EWSC has scheduled additional Membership Meetings. These meetings will be held at Seven Lakes Supper Club, 1420 No. Hwy. S, Whitelaw. The dates are Monday, February 19th and Monday, March 19th. Both meetings will begin at 8:00. We are hoping that this will make attending the meetings more convenient for those that are interested. Additional meetings will be added to the schedule at a later date. Keep an eye out on our website.  

Even though it’s the middle of winter, the season is right around the corner. Some of the Upcoming events are:

On Tuesday, Jan. 23rd, there will be a meeting for the Eastern 8 and Mighty 4 divisions. This is a follow up meeting from the meeting held on Dec. 9th. This will be an informational meeting and also to discuss line-ups and payout format. The meeting will be held at the Hacienda Santa Rosa Restaurant in Manitowoc. The meeting starts at 6:30. 

Our annual Work Day is schedule for Sat., April 14th. As usual we (this really means Chuck and his crew!) will need help getting things ready for the upcoming season. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. 

The Brat Fry will again be held on Saturday. It went well last year and we’re looking forward to a good day again this year. The tickets are being printed and will be ready soon. We’re hoping for a good ticket sell this year, as this is traditionally a source of income that helps us get the season started. As in the past, we are offering incentives for the top ticket sellers. The top two sellers will receive their choice of one 12-night pit pass or two grandstand passes. Third and Fourth sellers will receive one 12 night grandstand pass.  

Practice Day is scheduled for Sat, April 28th. The pits will open at 9:00 AM. Practice will begin at 10:00 and end at 2:00. Pit passes, for all, will be $15.00 with an additional $5.00 per car.  

EWSC memberships are on sale, as per usual. The cost is $25.00 until Feb. 19th. The price will then be $35.00 until the end of the brat fry and $45.00 after.
