A lap later, Wenzel broke free of Kistner and flew around the high side of the track to charge out of turn four passing Fuhrmann to take over the lead. By lap seven, Wenzel held a solid lead over second place Fuhrmann with Brad Ruh of Elkhart Lake in third.

Four-time feature winner Mike Bastian and fast qualifier and heat winner Brian Gilles of Plymouth joined the top five to chase down leader Wenzel. Two laps later, Gilles passed Bastian to pull alongside Ruh in a battle for third. As lapped traffic began, Gilles pulled into third and caught up to Fuhrmann to battle side by side with only inches separating the two competitors on the backstretch and through turn four. As the two completed lap thirteen, Fuhrmann held off Gilles to remain in second but three laps later, Fuhrmann and Gilles battled side by side again this time on the front stretch with Gilles inside Fuhrmann at the line. Gilles readjusted and threw his car to the outside of the track to pass Fuhrmann to take over second with four laps to go.Wenzel held a comfortable lead and flew through the checkered flag for his first A-Main win. Gilles followed in second with Fuhrmann, Bastian and Jeff Muehlbauer of Elkhart Lake rounded out the top five.

In the second Twin 20 race, Tim Werner took the early lead with Gilles chasing him down. By lap four, Gilles caught and passed Werner to take over the lead with the majority of the laps left to race. Werner and Fuhrmann charged to catch up to leader Gilles as Gilles set a solid pace out in the front of the field. In final lap charging, first twin race winner Wenzel made his move. In lap 16, Fuhrmann took over second place from Werner with Wenzel behind them in fourth. Two laps later, Wenzel charged passed Werner to move in behind Fuhrmann. Wenzel first attempted an inside pass to take over second but when that groove failed at the line, Wenzel threw his car to the outside of the track to battle side by side with Fuhrmann at the white flag. With only one lap left, Wenzel charged forward but Gilles flew through the checkered flag to win the second set of the Twin races. Wenzel followed in second with Werner passing to secure third in the final lap. Fuhrmann followed in fourth with Ruh in fifth.

When the overall finish was determined, Gilles and Wenzel tied for points each with a win and a second place. In the event of equal points, the tie is broken by the best qualifying lap which placed fast qualifier Gilles in the win for the Twin 20 A-Mains. Wenzel followed in second with Fuhrmann, Ruh and Werner rounding out the top five.

In the self-starting Winged Super Modified A-Main, Scott Mohs of Plymouth charged into the early lead with Dave Deicher also of Plymouth chasing him down until a rolled over car caused a red flag caution on lap three. Mohs set the pace in the front alone with Deicher and last year’s champion Tim McMullen of Plymouth in the first full row. Paul Pokorski of West Bend and Steve Bricker of Two Rivers started in the next row. Pokorski charged forward and took over the lead as another caution halted the racing action again but new leader Pokorski broke when completing that lap and was forced into the pits with mechanical problems not to return. Mohs inherited the lead back but at the green Deicher flew into the top spot with McMullen settling into second before another restart in lap six. When the green flag flew, Deicher again charged into the lead with McMullen chasing him down. Behind them, Billy Hafemann of Waldo and fast qualifier Pete Ostrowski of East Troy battled side by side for third. A lap later, Ostrowski flew around the track on the extreme high side of the track taking over third and pulling next to McMullen in a challenge for second. The next lap, Ostrowski secured second but McMullen remained close as a three way battle developed for the lead as Ostrowski and McMullen were within striking distance of leader Deicher. Hafemann hovered just behind the battling trio waiting for an opportunity to advance. By lap eleven, Ostrowski on the outside took over the lead with Deicher in second. Two laps later, an incident between McMullen and Hafemann caused a final yellow flag sending both to the back of the lineup. Shortly after the race was restarted, the one-minute-per-lap time limit was expired and Ostrowski charged through the corners and down the front stretch to claim the win of his fourth A-Main of the season. Deicher followed in second.

Heat winner Dave Schaetzer of Sheboygan charged into the early lead of the Limited Late Model A-Main with five-time feature winner Dan Dippel of Plymouth battling with Dave Haag of Glenbeulah on the first lap for second place. As Dippel broke free from Haag, Dippel set his focus on Schaetzer. Scott Haugstad of Plymouth moved into third behind Schaetzer and Dippel. By the half-way point Dippel threw his car to the inside groove to pull passed Schaetzer to take over the lead. Haugstad also passed Schaetzer to take over the challenge spot in lap eleven. Dippel charged through the checkered flag to win his sixth A-Main of the season. Haugstad followed in second with heat winner Schaetzer in third.

Without any accidents to slow the racing action, the Mighty 4 A-Main charged around the track with five-time feature winner Tim Jorgenson of DePere pulling into the early lead over second place Phil Martzahl of Freedom and Samantha Meyer of Plymouth in third. As Martzahl and Meyer chased him down, Jorgenson began lapping cars in lap ten. Jacob Meyer of Plymouth and Josh Torrison of Sheboygan joined the top five. At the checkered flag, Jorgenson charged through to win his sixth A-Main of the season. Martzahl followed in second with Samantha Meyer, Jacob Meyer and Amber Rabe of Plymouth making a late lap pass to finish in the top five.

Paul Nelesen of Mishicot jumped into the early lead of the Eastern 8 A-Main with Mike Robinson of Denmark chasing him down until lap five when an on-track incident sent Robinson and point leader Adam Krepline of Manitowoc to the pit area. Nelesen lined up in front alone with Greg Steffens of Appleton and Bret Koehler of Two Rivers in the row behind him. Two laps after the green flag restarted the race, with Nelesen in the to spot and Steffens in second, Sandra Meyer of Plymouth charged passed Koehler to take over third. A lap later, the final yellow appeared lining Nelesen in the front again with Steffens and Jacob Phillips of Green Bay behind him. When the green flag flew again, Stefffens charged after leader Nelesen but Nelesen was intent on winning and charged through the checkered flag to win his first A-Main of the season. Heat winner Steffens followed in second with Phillips finishing in third.

The visiting INEX Legend Car 20-lap A-Main ran green flag to checkered without incident as Phil Vantatenhove of Gibbsville charged out into the lead in the early laps with Greg Hartlaub of Sheboygan Falls moving into second place by the third lap. Hartlaub quickly made up the distance between his car and leader Vantatenhove and at the line in lap six, Hartlaub pulled alongside Vantatenhove to pressure for the lead. As he charged on the outside of the track, Hartlaub took over the lead a lap later. With Hartlaub focused on enhancing his lead, Eric Barth of Sauk City took over second place by inches as he raced side by side with Vantatenhove at the line in lap nine. Barth set his sights on leader Hartlaub as the two charged side by side down the back stretch and through turns three and four to race down the front stretch to complete lap eleven with Hartlaub holding onto the lead. Two laps later, Barth ducked his car to the inside coming out of turn four to beat Hartlaub to the line and take over the top spot. In lap fifteen, heat winner Warren Ropp of Kalona, Iowa pulled alongside Hartlaub and inched him out to take over second with five laps to go. Barth remained strong and charged through the checkered to win the INEX Legend Car A-Main. Ropp followed in second with Hartlaub in third.
