Manitowoc, WI.; May 13, 2006 - Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars was forced by days of intense rainstorms to cancel their race program for Saturday, May 13th. Upon inspection of the track and the pit area, the EWSC Board of Directors determined that the amount of water standing both on the track and in the pit area would not be able to be drained sufficiently to run a race later this afternoon. Weather forecast for later today in Manitowoc is80-90% chance of rain and high of 46 degrees.

Join Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars on Saturday, May 20th at the Manitowoc County Expo for the first annual Halloween In May. The Club will hold a costume contest for the fans with special giveaways. At the end of the race program, EWSC will hold its first Autograph Night in 2006 where the fans are encouraged to “Trick or Treat” in the pit area and meet their favorite drivers. EWSC Drivers and crews are being asked to decorate their haulers, dress in costume to greet the fans and have “goodies” at their haulers for the Autograph session.
